Program Description

The External Sport Credentials Program (ESCP) presents opportunities for student-participants to obtain graduation credits through reaching a standard in Ministry of Education approved external courses in the categories of athlete, coach and official. This program is administered and monitored by the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development – Sport Branch.

The course is for participants who have successfully reached a standard of excellence as an athlete, coach or official.  Examples of the standards are BC Games participant, Provincial Team Development Athlete or Provincial Team.
